Seats and billing

Every new organization starts on Free, with no card required. An organization owner can choose Team or Business in Settings → Seats & billing. Stripe handles paid Checkout, invoices, payment methods, plan changes, and cancellation.

Plans and seats

Prices are in US dollars per month, before any applicable tax shown in Checkout.

Plan Monthly price Event history by default
Free $0, up to 100 active seats 30 days
Team $4 per active seat, with a $400 monthly minimum 365 days
Business $6 per active seat 396 days

A seat is an enrolled device that reported activity in the last 30 days. Two reporting devices used by one person count as two seats. Registration alone does not count. Activity is metered by the service and the count updates hourly; you do not enter a quantity in Checkout or the billing portal.

Team costs $400 per month through 100 seats, then $4 for each additional seat. For example, 120 billed seats cost $480 on Team or $720 on Business. Team can start before devices report; Business requires at least one reporting device.

Grace periods

  • Free over 100 seats: an in-app notice starts a 30-day grace period. Bring usage within the limit or choose a paid plan. Blank does not automatically charge you or abruptly cut off service when the grace ends.
  • Additional paid seats: usage above the billed quantity must remain above it for 30 continuous days before true-up. Falling back within that quantity clears the grace. After grace, the next invoice reflects active seats. Seat decreases also affect the next invoice; seat changes do not prorate or automatically refund the current period.
  • Failed renewal: the previously paid tier remains available for up to seven days from the first payment failure, then the organization moves to Free. A failed initial payment or upgrade does not activate the new paid tier. Successful payment recovery restores the purchased tier.

Monthly renewal and plan changes

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. Checkout shows the total before purchase; paid features activate after payment is confirmed. Returning from Checkout alone does not activate them.

Owners use Settings → Seats & billing → Manage subscription for invoices, payment methods, and plan changes. A change between paid plans can generate an immediate prorated invoice, shown in the portal before confirmation. This is separate from metered seat changes, which affect the next invoice.

Cancellation and retention

Cancel in Manage subscription before renewal to prevent the next renewal charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with paid access through that date. It does not delete the organization.

After a paid plan moves to Free, existing event and feedback data are preserved for 30 days before Free's rolling 30-day retention applies. This preserves existing data temporarily; it does not promise to keep every record for 30 days after the hold ends. Explicit deletion requests can remove data sooner. Export anything you need before retention removes it.

Fees for a started period are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law and the refund policy. A refund does not itself stop renewal. For billing errors or portal access problems, use billing support.

The Terms of Service govern purchases. A separately signed agreement controls any agreed exceptions.
